Pike is a media professional with more than 50 years in show business. In addition to his live concert and motion picture background, in 1997, he wrote, produced, and directed his 99 minute, award-winning, live to video performance of an original epic narrative rhyme, Grumpuss at Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire, England, for the Save the Children Fund. That critically acclaimed performance led to several turn-of-the-century guest interviews with radio talk show hosts from Cape Cod to Waikiki. (View testimonials and hear clips from those broadcasts on the Otherworld Cottage 20th Century Talk Radio Shows page.) |
Ask Travis to tell: Why, at 69, he went all the way back to his rock 'n' roll roots to launch his independent, self-financed, production and publishing venture, Otherworld Cottage Industries? How teaming up with his talented youngest brother, Adam, a multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, recording studio owner, recording engineer and producer, was not only "instrumental" to the revival of his back catalog, but one of the most rewarding experiences of his entire career? How he plans to market his impressive Otherworld Cottage catalog as an independent, or, now that he has significant product on the shelves, will he be considering a deal with a major publisher/distributor? What are his future plans for Otherworld Cottage Industries, now that the recordings of his back catalog are complete?
